Artist creates nostalgic holiday ensembles.
Christopher James of Christopher’s Creative Designs will demonstrate his unique talent of creating vintage holiday ensembles at 2 p.m. on June 14 during Market Square Wholesale Shows at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center.
Host of the television show “Just Imagine with Christopher” and author of two best-selling books, Christopher will give buyers insight on his artistic process to make nostalgic seasonal creations that are reminiscent of times past.

“Christopher has an uncanny talent of cleverly grouping small and nostalgic holiday decorations into larger heirloom ensembles that are charming and colorful,” says Kathy Goodrich, president of Market Square. “His creativity not only includes the collective assemblages but also the creation of the smaller pieces that he either designs from scratch or embellishes from historic vintage pieces.”

The assemblages vary in size and are attractive to consumers looking for unusual and attractive Halloween, Christmas and Easter décor that can be easily displayed and make for a seasonal statement piece in the home.
Each assemblage includes a collection of vintage items: for example, a Christmas version that includes tinsel, small tinsel trees, electric holiday lights, tiny elves, a small sleigh, a hand painted Santa, glittery wreathes and bows or a Halloween version that includes handmade ghosts, scarecrow, pumpkins, and a hand-painted backdrop.

Other artists participating in the series of demonstrations include Camden Pottery/Johnson Gallery, Loomination, Angel of Heart, Honey Brook Woodcrafts, and McQuinna’s Cupboard.
Market Square’s wholesale show in Valley Forge/Oaks, Pennsylvania will run from June 13-15 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center and will include three wholesale ways to buy – order-writing, artisan gallery, and cash and carry.
