On Monday, June 8, at 11 a.m. buyers can participate in an artisan demonstration by painter, Billy Jacobs. Buyers will have an opportunity to learn more about techniques and processes and engage I an information conversation about the artistic process.
For more than three decades, Jacobs’ depiction of the simple American lifestyle and days gone by have brought a nostalgic comfort to the viewer and have made him one of today’s most sought after artist. Jacobs specializes in landscape and still life scenes, using a variety of mediums. His inspiration comes from life experiences and specific scenes or buildings that catch his eye. Now Billy offers a new furniture and accessories line inspired by Billy’s artwork.
Other artisan demonstrations have been scheduled throughout Market Square’s three-day wholesale show to include Strafford House, Primitiques LTD, Roggio Jewelry, Cranberry Hollow Primitives, Hanway Mill House, Better Bee, Aunt Liz’s Attic-Time Past, Stephen Earp Redware, Baskets by Gin, and Pine Design.
