There’s an increased interest in artisanal food.

Located in heart of Central Pennsylvania, Tait Farm Foods prides itself on handcrafting foods for more than 20 years. Certified organic, the diversified family farm dedicates 10 acres to vegetables, fruits and green house production, and the Tait’s manufacture a line of 50+ artisanal, specialty foods.

“All of our products are made by hand in small batches and we use only natural ingredients. You can really tell or taste the difference,” says Kim Tait.

Tait Farm Foods is home to the “Original Shrub” crafting their prized Raspberry Shrub since 1987 when an over abundant crop of raspberries led to concocting and reintroducing the Colonial beverage recipe. Fruit shrubs add a burst of fresh fruit flavor from classic cocktails to alcohol-free artisan mocktails. The handcrafted line has evolved into a full line of fruity flavors including rhubarb, cherry, cranberry, ginger, lemon, lime, wild blueberry, orange, spiced apple and strawberry.

Since the first bottles of shrub, the line of products has grown to include delectable fruit spreads, dessert sauces, well-rounded and balanced vinaigrettes, all-natural cooking sauces, culinary salts, chai products, specialty mixes for pancakes, scones, skillet cornbread, dips and cheese balls and savory condiments to include chutneys, relishes, mustards and pepper jellies,
